This week we had a guest movie fan stop in and submit a quiz for your enjoyment! Bryan Whitehead, a former lawyer and current movie buff has given us a quiz about courtoom battles in the movies.

The following ten people (or groups of people) were defendants in courtroom dramas. Based on the descriptions of the defendants and the charges against them, name the movies. Bonus: Were they convicted or acquitted? E-mail me with your guesses.
1. Two Marines serving at the Guantanamo Bay Naval Base. Charged with murder and Conduct Unbecoming a United States Marine.
2. A New Orleans businessman. Charged with conspiracy to assassinate the President.
3. An Australian housewife. Charged with murder.
4. Two petty criminals. Charged with four counts of murder. Hint: they were arrested in one state and tried in another.
5. A murder mystery writer. Charged with murder. Hint: she could also have been charged with smoking in a non-smoking area, but the police didn’t arrest her for it.
6. A schoolteacher. Charged with violation of the Butler Act.
7. A black man whose left hand was caught in a cotton gin when he was a boy. Charged with rape.
8. A European socialite. Charged with attempted murder.Hint: the movie was about his post-conviction appeal, not the original trial.
9. A fitness guru. Charged with murder. Hint: the defense was somewhat unorthodox.
10. Two Navy officers from a World War Two minesweeper. Charged with mutiny.
